Tour Itinerary

Day 1:Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech. You’ll head toward the High Atlas Mountains, climbing the winding roads of the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), with scenic stops along the way for photos and short breaks.

Midday, arrive at Aït Ben Haddou, Morocco’s most iconic fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided walk through its ancient alleys and climb to the top for panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape.

After lunch, continue through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses before reaching the spectacular Dades Valley in the late afternoon. Check in to your charming guesthouse, relax, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner.

Day 2:Dades Valley Trek – M’Goun Valley – Boutaghrar

After breakfast, begin your trekking experience in Dades Valley. Walk through scenic trails surrounded by unique rock formations, cultivated fields, and small Berber villages. Your pace can be adapted depending on your fitness level and interests.

After the morning hike, continue by vehicle toward the stunning M’Goun Valley, part of the Central High Atlas and known for its untouched landscapes and welcoming local communities.

Arrive in Boutaghrar (Bou Tharar) in the afternoon. This peaceful village offers a true escape from busy tourist routes. Settle into your guesthouse, enjoy a home-cooked dinner, and experience authentic mountain hospitality.

Day 3:Boutaghrar – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, depart toward the impressive Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create one of Morocco’s most dramatic natural sights. Enjoy free time to walk through the gorge and take photos.

Continue through Tinjdad and Erfoud, famous for its fossils and date palm oases, before reaching Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara.

In the late afternoon, begin your camel trek across the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset from the top of a dune before arriving at your desert camp.

Enjoy dinner under the stars, followed by traditional music around the campfire. Overnight in a private tent at the desert camp.

Day 4:Merzouga – Draa Valley – High Atlas – Marrakech

Wake early to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, return by camel or 4×4 to Merzouga village.

Begin the scenic journey back to Marrakech, traveling through the vast Draa Valley, lined with palm groves and ancient kasbahs. Stop for lunch along the way and continue across the High Atlas Mountains.

Arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, concluding your 4-day mountain and desert adventure.
